Very helpful post! I want to make my business as portable as possible so that I can work even while on vacation so the more tools I learn about from people who are actually using them, the better! And I love getting my faxes by email too, even at home. Cuts down on paper waste!
Take care and enjoy your trip.

Such a great topic, thanks: efax+skype is a must. With e-filing (and filing by messenger via email) I don't think people realize how possible it is to practice away from home base.

Have you tried anything like backpackit - which seems like hassle-free way to upload and access (securely) docs?

Evan

Venkat--Yes, I use backpackit too, the free version. I've found it to be a useful collaboration tool--I gave the password to Andrea, and we could use it to make notes about our trip that we could both access. It would work the same way for joint legal projects.
